Lual D’Awol is a respected South Sudanese activist, creative, and a founding member of Ana Taban, a youth-led movement known for using art, music, and public engagement to promote peace and social justice in South Sudan.
A strong believer in the power of collective action, Lual has dedicated his voice and platform to amplifying issues affecting vulnerable South Sudanese communities both at home and abroad. His advocacy and creative leadership have inspired many to stand against injustice, using nonviolent action and community mobilization.
As an ambassador for the Global Campaign for South Sudanese in Sudan, Lual brings both his passion for social change and his commitment to humanitarian advocacy to the forefront — helping to ensure that the plight of South Sudanese affected by the conflict in Sudan is heard, seen, and acted upon
