The situation in Naivasha Camp, and other places in Sudan is unsustainable for South Sudanese. While hundreds have left, many more have arrived from other conflict zones over the past two years. The camp now still holds more than 3,800 families. Less than 700 people have managed to escape, and those who remain are trapped, their voices unheard.
No government, no organization, and no leader has stepped forward to help. The South Sudanese embassy has remained silent, and the international community seems to be oblivious. Unfortunately war does not wait, bombs continue to fall relentlessly. Armed groups continue to tighten their grip, while disease and starvation are wiping out entire families unabated.
The people of Naivasha Camp need evacuation; Without it they will die. The Global Campaign & Emergency Humanitarian Response for South Sudanese in Sudan is calling on; governments, humanitarian agencies, and donors to take action. We cannot let another day pass in silence. The world must step in before it’s too late.
How You Can Help
The Global Campaign & Emergency Humanitarian Response for South Sudanese in Sudan aims to amplify the voices of South Sudanese trapped in Sudan. For places like Naivasha Camp to fulfil their as temporary places of safety, we need to mobilize urgent assistance. We are calling for:
Direct Donations: You can help by donating to our GoFundMe page. Every contribution brings us closer to saving lives.
Get Involved: Join The Global Campaign & Emergency Humanitarian Response for South Sudanese in Sudan and make a difference
Emergency Humanitarian Aid: Food, medical supplies, and hygiene essentials must be delivered immediately through existing humanitarian organisations that are on the ground.
Safe Evacuation Plans: We need to coordinate with existing interventions that are operating on the ground to transport those at greatest risk to safer locations.
International Pressure: Engage governments, NGOs, and global leaders to take action to ensure aid reaches Naivasha and that refugees are given safe passage.
We cannot do this alone; we need your help. Please spread the word, donate, and advocate for immediate intervention. Every voice raised brings hope, and every action taken saves lives.
Without urgent intervention to provide food, medical aid, and safe passage; this camp will become a graveyard. We must act now.
